JAMES MORRISON has directed, written, and produced three award-winning short films, a feature-length documentary called Showing Up: A Conversation About the Audition (co-directed and produced by his wife, Riad Galayini and available to stream at www.showingupmovie.com) and has had his plays developed and produced by Sundance Institute, the Ojai Playwrights Conference, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, The Road Theatre, Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, and Ensemble Studio Theatre among many others.

As an actor, he served his apprenticeship with the Alaska Repertory Theatre and has appeared at the La Jolla Playhouse, the Mark Taper Forum, Princeton's McCarter Theatre, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Salt Lake Acting Company, The Old Globe, L.A.
